We have compiled a list of the questions most commonly asked by couples. We hope they help you. Otherwise please get in touch we are always on hand to answer any queries


Are you HSE registered & insured business?

Yes we are a fully registered and insured business and welcome safety and protocol checks from HSE annually. We have also completed HACCP food safety training.

Do you have cake stands for hire?

Yes! We have a wide range of beautiful cake stands to suit all styles and rental prices are from €25 to €50 + refundable security deposit.

Do you offer delivery and set up at our wedding venue?

We offer a delivery and set-up service for wedding cakes. We are based in Co.Sligo and delivery is calculated on distance to your venue. Please note that celebration cake orders are collection only unless otherwise agreed upon.

Can we come and discuss our design and taste flavours?

Yes! All wedding orders include cake tasting, and consultation if required. See Cake Tastings for more info on this.

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my booking?

Yes, all orders require a non refundable deposit to be paid to secure a date in our diary. Please note no order is secured with just an enquiry.

Can you ice a tier or cake my family or friend makes and use it for part of wedding cake?

No, unfortunately this is not a service we offer. Due to HACCP regulations and traceability issues. We can only supply and decorate cakes that have been made on site.

Ive seen some beautiful cake toppers online, can you supply this or do I need to get it?

We work with Irish companies to supply both figurine toppers and also the more contemporary laser cut cake toppers. These suppliers will create the design to our spec and sizing requirements. If you are planning to get your own topper, please consult with us to check it will be suitable size and weight for your order.

Are fresh flowers included in the prices?

No however we have many brilliant local florists we work with weekly and supply us with cake florals, it may be worth looking into cake florals as part of your bridal package. We are happy to liaise With your florist on this.

Does it all have to be the same flavour cake?

Absolutely not! Pick a flavour a tier for variety for your guests!

What do I need to Bring to my consultation?

Please bring as much information as you can, designs, colour swatches, themes, images, material samples, floral pictures, images of any styling or set up that you would like to dress your cake table.

How soon do I need to order to get a date in your diary?

Typically dates book up 12-18 months in advance however check our availability calendar to check if your date is free. Some off peak dates may require less lead time 4-6 months.

When is final balance due?

Final payment is due one week before your wedding date, this can be made visa online bank transfer, card payments through our website here or in cash in person.

Can I have a fresh cream cake?

No. We only offer buttercream, ganache, fondant finishes.

How much should I expect to pay for our wedding cake?

Our wedding cakes start from €220 for a one tier cake . Prices increase from there depending on designs, flavours, extras etc. See more here

Can you provide extras e.g - donuts, macarons, marshmallows, cake pops, dessert tables?

Yes we are happy to supply these to match your wedding cake and theme of wedding, these can be also ordered as wedding favours. Please contact us for a quotation or view our pricelists here.

I’ve sent a contact form but haven’t heard back?

As we are a small team and during summer month especially, our response times can vary from 7-10 days. We appreciate your patience and will ensure to reply to all emails at our earliest convenience to confirm if your wedding date is available.

Can I have dietary requirement catered for in my cake? (gluten, dairy, vegan, nut free etc.)

Unfortunately not yet, as we use all allergen products in our kitchens weekly we cannot guarantee 100% free of requested dietary requirement. But we are working towards offering this in the future.
